2014 Eastern Region Campus Compact Conference
October 15-17, 2014 | Jacksonville, Florida
Moving Us Forward – Fifty Years On: From Civil Rights to Critical Engagement
This year, Florida Campus Compact is pleased to expand its state-wide conference as a co-host of the 4th Annual Eastern Regional Compact Conference. More
information to follow.
The mission of this conference is to advance institutional and community engagement for the public good. This year's conference brings higher education
stakeholders together to advance critical engagement while highlighting the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. Woven throughout institutes,
workshops, poster sessions, panels, and keynote addresses, ERCC will honor those who have struggled for equity and recommit ourselves to promote critical
engagement toward a more just and democratic society.
- Galvanize community – campus partnerships for collective impact.
- Promote twenty-first century knowledge making for healthy communities.
- Build diverse democracies on and off campus.
FL|CC Annual Conference
Once a year, FL|CC hosts a professional development and planning conference for faculty, staff and administrators from member campuses
responsible for coordinating community service and engagement activities. This can range from curricular and co-curricular service-learning to Community
Federal Work Study Programs. The conference provides opportunities to acquire information, share best practices, network with colleagues from around the
state, and plan for advanced intrastate collaboration.
